Tiffins Cake Company

Tiffins Cake Company was founded because of our passion for real food made by traditional methods and using natural ingredients.

We believe that food should not only taste great but should be nutritious.  Our cakes and biscuits are packed with wholesome good quality ingredients like fruit, nuts and seeds. Many are baked using wholegrain wheat flour and whole rolled oats and we use only eggs that are free-range. All our products are made with butter or sunflower oil, we never use hydrogenated fats.

Our ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible to save food miles and support local businesses. Our flour comes from Wessex Mill in Wantage and Mapledurham Watermill, the last working corn and grist mill on the Thames.  We use eggs that are laid by hens kept a few miles away in nearby villages such as Bray and Dorney. If we cannot buy an ingredient locally then we try to buy British. We use chocolate from Mortimer Chocolate Company near Reading and Montezuma's organic couverture chocolate (white and dark with 73% cocoa solids) which is made on the South Downs.

We try to use packaging that can be recycled wherever possible.

If you love food and care about how it is produced then you will be sure to find something in our range of cakes and biscuits to tempt you.
